The Challenge

how do we build a thriving makers community in Nigeria?

For this event, Made Culture worked closely with Watershed Art Trust -UK and The British Council to develop a programme of activity which included r. We want to share our learning from CPI and learn how Lagosian creative leaders animate public space, evoke creativity and nurture creative talent to improve the lives of citizens. As part of this activity Watershed’s Creative Director/CEO Clare Reddington is hosting a seminar on the theme of ‘What does it mean to be a Producer?’ This session will be an exploration of Producing in the creative sector. Clare will share some of Watershed’s research and we will hear about the work and experience of guest speakers; what being a Producer means to them, how their career has developed, the challenges they face in the role and the value of the role in a city context like Lagos.
